The web should work for everyone.

We target WCAG 2.2 Level AA for this website and work to preserve accessibility as the site changes.

Accessibility is an ongoing practice, not a certification or a claim that every possible browser and assistive technology combination has been tested.

How we approach accessibility.

  • Semantic HTML before ARIA
  • Keyboard-operable controls and visible focus indicators
  • Logical landmarks and heading structure
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images
  • Text-based form errors and persistent visible labels
  • Color contrast checked in light and dark themes
  • Layouts intended to reflow with zoom and text resizing
  • Reduced-motion behavior for people who request it

How we test this site.

We review this site against WCAG 2.2 Level AA as its content, components, and integrations change. Repository checks and automated analysis help identify problems, but they do not establish conformance on their own.

Automated checks cover code-level issues and recurring browser states. Depending on what changed, manual review may include keyboard operation, focus order, zoom, reflow, themes, reduced motion, and assistive technology behavior. We document the tools, browsers, and methods used without implying coverage we have not completed.

Known limitations.

Some site functions depend on services we do not fully control:

  • Tally: The existing-client request form is embedded from Tally. Its interface and accessibility behavior are managed by that provider.
  • Google reCAPTCHA: The contact form uses reCAPTCHA v3 for spam protection. It normally runs without a visible challenge, but Google controls the verification service.
  • Cloudflare: Security systems may occasionally present a verification step outside the site's own interface.

If one of these services prevents you from completing a task, email us and we will provide another way to continue.

Report an accessibility barrier.

Email hello@niyonarts.com with the page URL, a description of the problem, and the browser or assistive technology you were using, if relevant.

We will review your report, investigate the issue, and work with you to identify an accessible alternative if one is needed.
